Opening Ceremony of the 2009 Thai Language and Culture Summer School at the Buddhapadipa Temple in London.
On 3 August 2009, H.E. Mr. Kitti Wasinondh, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK opened the 2009 Thai Language and Culture Summer School at the Buddhapadipa Temple in London. This year the school is attended by around 25 Thai children who have been born or living in the UK. These children will be taught by volunteer teachers both from the UK and Education Faculty of Khon Kaen University. The project, which has taken place for the last 16 years, is partially funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ budget to support the activities of Thais abroad.
